World Master Karl James, 7th Dan, runs taekwondo schools in Billingshurst, Crawley, Croydon, East Grinstead and Horsham in the south of England.

Karl began his training in Taekwondo 1980 and has been instructing for over 25 years.

Karl originally began his training alongside his brother and father and due to having started in this way, realises the benefits of doing something together as a family.

He promotes this in his classes and finds the family sessions he runs very rewarding.

As keen competitor in his younger years Karl has won multiple South East Championship titles in different events. Has two national title, won a silver medal in the Welterweight sparring at the British Championships in 1999 and has competed at the World Championships 6 times home and abroad.
